We realize you may not have the time, proper equipment, the knowledge, or even the desire, to complete some of the intimidating tasks that come along with owning goats. That's why we're here! We'll be happy to assist you with any of our services. Just give us a call or send us an email to set up an appointment.
Hoof trimming is often an overlooked chore but it's very important for the goat's overall health.
Overgrown hooves cause weight bearing issues due to miss alignment of the joints. Neglected hoof care can also lead to bacterial problems such as hoof rot and hoof scald.
Disbudding is one of our least favorite task to do on the farm. After all, why hurt these precious little week old babies right? Well the fact is, this is something that is better for you and the goat. And don't worry, they don't hold it against you and they'll be running around playing in no time.
We use a portable ultrasound scanner to confirm pregnancy in goats.
The best gestation time to perform the ultrasound is from 30-50 days. While we can't guarantee the exact number of fetuses present, this time frame gives us the best opportunity to correctly count them.
During the test we will confirm or deny to pregnancy but we'll make no guarantee about the number of fetuses
